Urgent Appeal
Age Scotland is facing serious financial pressures, and we're making an urgent appeal for your support to help us sustain the vital services which support tens of thousands of older people every year.
We’re at a critical point where demand for our helpline, friendship and information services is growing, but we don’t have the resources to meet it. Scotland's population is ageing, and the cost-of-living crisis sees more older people struggling on low incomes. But without additional funding, we will see a change in the vital services we can offer for older people.
In order to adapt to this significant drop in income and put Age Scotland on a sustainable financial position for the future, we have no alternative but to consider proposals that reduce our expenditure. This will have a huge impact on the scale of the services we can offer.
Katherine Crawford, Chief Executive
