Put on your tartan and lace up your boots..

The Edinburgh Kiltwalk 2026 rounds off another fantastic year of walking! Mighty Striders set off from Holyrood Park from 9am, taking in iconic landmarks before meeting Big Strollers in Musselburgh. The final wave of Wee Wanderers leaves Victoria Park at 10:30am, joining the crowd for the last 4.6 miles to Murrayfield Stadium.

Get together with friends, family or colleagues and get fit whilst raising vital funds for Age Scotland.

Registration fee: £7 - £20

Fundraising goal: There is no set sponsorship for this event but we would recommend a target of £50 for the Wee Wander and £200 for the Mighty Stride or Big Stroll.

How much are you ready to walk?

The Kiltwalk offers something for everyone. Whether you’d just like to go for a wee wonder or you are brave enough for The Mighty Stride, it’s time to put on your kilt and strap on your boots.

• The Mighty Stride 22.7 miles, leaving from Holyrood Park (average walking time is 8 hours). 
  Times: 9:00, 9:30, 10:00 or 10:30

• The Big Stroll 11.2 miles, starting from Musselburgh (average walking time is 5 hours).

  Times: 9:30, 10:00 or 10:30

• The Wee Wander 4.6 miles (average walking time is 2 hours), leaving from Victoria park.
  Times: 9:30, 10:00, or 10:30

  This family friendly route also allows dogs on leads and is the most suitable for anyone with a buggy, walking aid or wheelchair – to ensure the terrain is suitable for you, please email contactus@thekiltwalk.co.uk
