Glasgow Kiltwalk 2027
It's tartan time!
The streets of Glasgow were a sea of tartan this April, as the world’s biggest Kiltwalk took place in the long awaited spring sunshine. If you missed out or you would like to take part again, The Glasgow Kiltwalk will be back for 2027!
Choose your distance, and get together with friends, family or colleagues to raise vital funds for Age Scotland.
When: 24th, 25th April 2026
Registration fee: £7 - £20*
Fundraising goal: Wee Wander £50 / Mighty Stride & Big Stroll £150

How much are you ready to walk?
The Kiltwalk offers something for everyone. Whether you’d just like to go for a wee wonder or you are brave enough for The Mighty Stride, it’s time to put on your kilt and strap on your boots.
- The Mighty Stride 22.7 miles, leaving from Glasgow Green and finishing in Balloch, Loch Lomond. (average walking time is 8 hours).
Times: 8:30, 9:00, 9:30, or 10:00
- The Big Stroll 14.5 miles, starting from West College Scotland Clydebank and finishing in Balloch, Loch Lomond (average walking time is 5 hours)
Times: 9:30, 10:00, 10:30, 11:00, 11:30, 12:00

The Wee Wander 3.1 miles (average walking time is 1.5 hours), leaving from Loch Lomond Shores and finishing at Moss O'Balloch Park
Times: 10:00, 10:30, or 11:00This family friendly route also allows dogs on leads and is the most suitable for anyone with a buggy, walking aid or wheelchair – to ensure the terrain is suitable for you, please email contactus@thekiltwalk.co.uk
