Why run for Age Scotland?

Age Scotland is the Scottish charity for older people. Many older people in Scotland are lonely, are financially insecure, live in inadequate housing, and experience fuel poverty. They have poor access to the health and social care support they need and don’t feel valued by society.

By taking part in The Scottish Half Marathon 2027 and fundraising for Age Scotland, you can help us provide vital support, advice and friendship to older people across Scotland.

When you join Team Age Scotland, you'll also receive:

⭐A free Age Scotland running shirt

⭐Fundraising support, tips and resources

⭐A personalised certificate to celebrate your achievement
