Help us tackle loneliness

Age Scotland’s Friendship Services aim to reduce loneliness and isolation by supporting volunteers to make regular calls of friendship and companionship. 

The Friendship Administration Volunteer role involves contacting our call recipients to collect feedback on their experience of the service.  

Typical duties will include;

  • Calling people to ask specific questions and to collect feedback. 

  • Recording responses through a survey platform.

  • Letting us know if you or your callers need any further support.

  • Agreeing and complying with Age Scotland's policies and procedures.

  • From time to time, providing feedback and completing further training as necessary to support you and your volunteering role. 

Opportunities are available to volunteer either from home and/or from Age Scotland's Edinburgh office.
