Age Scotland announces changes to top team

Katherine Crawford - Spokespeople

13 February 2024

The charity’s CEO has created three new posts.

Age Scotland’s chief executive officer, Katherine Crawford, has announced changes to the senior management team, including three new posts which reflect the charity’s strategic priorities in the years ahead.

Fiona Cross, previously director of community services, is leading the charity’s new directorate, Advice, Support and Community Services at Scotland’s national charity for older people at a time when the charity is investing into its service provision.

Stacey Kitzinger has been promoted from head of fundraising and marketing to associate director of fundraising and marketing.

Adam Stachura has also been promoted from head of policy and communications to associate director of policy, communications and external affairs.

Katherine Crawford, who joined Age Scotland as CEO six months ago, said:

“I am delighted to announce that skilled and experienced Age Scotland colleagues have taken on new and expanded roles.

“Our colleagues have demonstrated their commitment and drive to increase the impact that the charity has, and these changes reflect the strengthening of connections across the charity to enhance our joined-up service and resource delivery for older people.

“It also reflects my belief that the work led by Stacey and Adam is at the heart of what we do as a charity, and it felt right that they became part of the senior management team, alongside Fiona whose leadership will facilitate connections and foster new thinking as she brings the work of several teams together.

“I look forward to working with Fiona, Stacey and Adam, the rest of the senior management team and wider Age Scotland community to deliver the best possible support for older people in Scotland in the years ahead.”
