Supernova 2026

Be part of next year’s feel-good 5K at the home of the iconic Kelpies.

The Supernova 5k around Andy Scott's mythical sculptures and around the very beautiful helix Park is an event for all the family! Join the friendliest 5k, and take it at your own pace! Grab your glowsticks and enjoy the glow of lights as you go around the course.

When: Friday 13^th and Saturday 14^th March 2026

Where: Helix Park, Falkirk

As one of our runners, we will support you every step of the way and help you cross the finish line. You will receive:

• Free Age Scotland t-shirt
• Free Age Scotland water bottle if target is reached

Why run for Age Scotland?

Across Scotland, over 100,000 people over 65 experience chronic loneliness. That's an average of one older person on every street across Scotland.

By helping us raise funds, you are allowing us to make more Friendship Calls and support older people through our Helpline with benefit entitlements, housing. and free Will writing services.

"I returned to running in August 2024 and was encouraged by my niece Julia. We ran the Glasgow 10k in October 2024 together and after that run we booked the Supernova Kelpies 5K. Julia inspires me and is happy to run at my (slow) pace. I wanted to make the run meaningful and was happy to try and make money for Age Scotland, a worthy cause. Julia's boyfriend Reiner provided great back up support, taking photos, holding coats and offering hot tea afterwards!" - Angie
