Put on your tartan and lace up your boots..

After the success of the 2025 Glasgow Kiltwalk the newly added Saturday will be back for 2026. Take part in the cost popular walking event in the UK! The Mighty Stride kicks off from the iconic Glasgow Green and is met by The Big Strollers at Clydebank, before sweeping up the Wee wandered at the shores of Loch Lomond. 

Get together with friends, family or colleagues and get fit whilst raising vital funds for Age Scotland.

Registration fee: £7 - £20

Fundraising goal: Wee Wander £50 / Mighty Stride £200

How much are you ready to walk?

The Kiltwalk offers something for everyone. Whether you’d just like to go for a wee wonder or you are brave enough for The Mighty Stride, it’s time to put on your kilt and strap on your boots.

  • The Mighty Stride 22.7 miles, leaving from Glasgow Green and finishing in Balloch, Loch Lomond. (average walking time is 8 hours). 
    Times: 8:30, 9:00, 9:30, or 10:00 
  • The Big Stroll 14.5 miles, starting from West College Scotland Clydebank and finishing in Balloch, Loch Lomond (average walking time is 5 hours) 

    Times: 9:30, 10:00, 10:30, 11:00, 11:30, 12:00

  • The Wee Wander 3.1 miles (average walking time is 1.5 hours), leaving from Loch Lomond Shores and finishing at Moss O'Balloch Park 
    Times: 10:00, 10:30, or 11:00 

    This family friendly route also allows dogs on leads and is the most suitable for anyone with a buggy, walking aid or wheelchair – to ensure the terrain is suitable for you, please email contactus@thekiltwalk.co.uk
