The Old Ones Are The Best!

Tickets are now available for 'The Old Ones Are The Best', a brand new comedy showcase on Wednesday 1st April featuring some of Glasgow's funniest over 50s.

Earlier this year, The Social Hub and Age Scotland teamed up with Glasgow International Comedy Festival to find Scotland's funniest over-50s.

Following a huge number of applications to take part, the finalists were selected and became the 'class of 2026'.  They've since been put through their paces by the hilarious Viv Gee, perfected their acts, and are ready to perform live at The Social Hub Glasgow!

Age Scotland chief executive Katherine Crawford commented:

“We’re proud to be partnering with The Social Hub and Glasgow International Comedy Festival to help bridge the generation gap in comedy.

“Older people have a wealth of stories and life experience to draw on, but they are often underrepresented on comedy stages. 

All proceeds from the event on 1st April come to Age Scotland. Please join us, show your support, and have a laugh at the best comedy showcase with our Class of 2026!
